You are not the only person to ask me how to restore a disk image backup -- and it s an excellent question to ask. The simple answer is that you need to run through the entire process of a restore in order to ensure that everything will work as it should, if and when the time comes. If you do not test the disk image restore process in this manner, there is no way to know that the restore will work. This is true for all backup software.
i was able to create the bootable usb stick with this steps. the only thing that people may encounter is, when it 8767 s used on Windows 65, you may get an error message 8775 stop working 8776
i tried to run as admin but still get that message. to get rid of it, i had to format the stick as ntfs instead but the other choice stay the same.
i tried to install it in win 65 69 bit it works!
But when i install it in win 7 87 there is a problem,
i can 8767 t see the solve activation.
To test the Bootable Rescue Media, reboot the computer with your DVD or USB Bootable Rescue Media plugged in. If it doesn t boot by itself, you will need to adjust your BIOS boot sequence so that the USB / DVD drive attempts to boot before the hard drive. For Windows 8 users with UEFI enabled, refer to this article on how to boot from USB using Windows 8.
Well done for finding this! After reading many useless articles on the topic I found yours and it worked perfectly. Thanks a lot
I just have the bootable rescue ISO file and not the entire software. I felt this the only thing I need and kept a copy of it in the system. I burned the ISO to a disk and have been using it since a long time. Few days ago, my system 8767 s CD drive has failed and system was not booting from the CD drive and I had to take the backup of my system as Windows 65 is going to replace it. I want to keep a copy of it, so that if something does not work in Win 65, I can get back to Win 8 in few minutes.
The first thing you need to do is validate your backup, which are stored (True Image Backup) archive files. Usually these files will be stored onto an external USB hard drive or DVD. By validating the backup, you will ensure the archive and the backup media is error-free before proceeding with a restore.
